Garden and seasons
How do I grow crops?
Tap an empty garden bed to sow seeds. The menu shows the price, the season and how many days until harvest. Water every day and pull weeds.
How often do I water the garden?
Garden beds need water once a day: tap the bed › Water. Rain does it for you after about 20 minutes of steady rain. Two dry days in a row and the bed dies.
What do weeds do?
Pull weeds when you see them. Two or more weeds in a bed stop it growing, even if you water it.
How long are the seasons?
Each season lasts 7 days. Most crops only grow in some seasons. In winter only frost-hardy kale and garlic can be planted.
How do I breed new tulip colours?
Sow tulips in spring: red, yellow or white. Plant different colors side by side near a beehive, then harvest. New colors show up as seeds: red + yellow make orange, red + white make pink.
Where do I get bees and honey?
A beehive is in Build › Outdoors › Garden. Bees make honey and help nearby fruit, pumpkins and sunflowers grow faster. You need bees to breed tulip colors.
Kitchen and food
Are there secret recipes?
Kitchen experiments at the stove invent secret recipes. Pick 2 or 3 ingredients. A hint: try moonflowers ×1 and honey ×1. Careful, failed experiments can upset your stomach.
Does food spoil?
Fresh food spoils in your basket. The fridge slows that down. A chest freezer, root cellar crates or the pantry stop it completely.
How does canning work?
Canning is at the stove: jam, sauce and pickles, each uses 2 produce and a jar. Jars are 6 for $9 downtown. Put the jars away in a kitchen cupboard (tap a counter › Open the cupboard) or a pantry shelf. Until then they ride in your basket: Phone › Bag. Canned food keeps all year.
Hens and pets
How do I look after hens and hatch chicks?
Feed the hens at the coop every day ($4). If they go more than 4 days without food, one leaves. A rooster lets a hen brood eggs, and chicks hatch 3 days later.
How do I adopt a pet?
Pets need food, a clean home and attention. Happy pets cheer you up. Pets kept in a hutch or tank are fed and cleaned there. Adopt in Phone › Pets.
Fishing and collecting
How does fishing work?
Fishing works at the river all year. Each season and time of day has different fish. Check Phone › Collections.
What can I collect?
Fish, bugs, river finds, park finds and pressed flowers. Each season and time of day has different ones. A golden ★ is a rare perfect catch.
What are the river lanterns and frost crystals?
On spring nights, paper lanterns float down the river. Tap one to catch it, and every fifth hides a rare tulip seed. On winter nights, frost crystals glitter on the ground. Every five give a cozy boost and $15.
Money, work and skills
How do jobs work?
Your Lulu goes to work on weekdays by themselves and is paid every working day. Skipping work costs that day’s pay. Three skips and you are fired. Each job trains two skills, and those skills unlock promotions. Find one in Phone › Jobs.
What can I sell and buy?
Sell: crops, flowers, eggs, honey, fish and anything else you harvest or make. Florists sell flowers for more. Buy: hens, chicks, a rooster, compost and special items. Furniture, plants and seeds are bought in Build mode.
Can I run my own shop?
Buy a shop in town, keep it stocked, and customers buy from it every morning. Working a shift sells more and builds your reputation. More reputation brings more customers. Upgrades and a hired neighbor help it grow.
How do bills work?
Bills arrive once a week and depend on the size and value of your home, your appliances and your water use. You have 3 days to pay. Late bills add a $20 fee, and the power gets cut until you pay. Solar panels and rain barrels lower your bills. Turn on autopay to pay automatically when you have the money.
How do skills work?
Skills go from 0 to 10. Raise them by doing things at home, at work, with books (up to 6) or online courses (up to 10). The more you know, the slower each level comes. Skills unlock promotions, crafts, businesses and better pay.

How do I build and decorate?
Open Build. Build › Rooms › New room draws a whole room. Build › Walls has single walls, doors and windows, then wall paint. Build › Houses has ready-made homes.
How do I keep my home clean?
Tap a dusty floor › Mop, or a dirty object › Clean it. Build › Houses › Tidy whole lot pays a crew. Phone › Services can send a cleaner every day.
What about the bathroom need?
When the bladder need runs low, use the toilet. Failed kitchen experiments empty it fast, so keep a bathroom close.
Quests and help
How do quests work?
Neighbors and the town give you quests. Some only appear in certain seasons, and some have a deadline. Finish the steps in order to get the reward.
How do I report a bug or send an idea?
You can write to the people who make Lulu Land in Phone › Home › Help & feedback. Bugs, ideas or just a hello.
Tips
- Tap anything in your home to see what you can do with it. Tap the ground to walk.
- Neighbours answer questions in the chat. Ask them about gardens, hens or money.
- Gardening sometimes digs up worms: great bait for the fishing game.
- You can eat on any seat: a couch, a bench, even a cushion.
- Each season lasts 7 days and changes what grows, so plant for the season you are in.
- Every mini-game is optional: play it yourself or let your Lulu do it.
